Dysport & Xeomin®
As some of the few plastic surgeons in the area to offer this innovative treatment, Drs. Zapiach, Cozzone, and Vieira perform Ultherapy® ultrasonic skin tightening here at our New Jersey practice. This non-surgical procedure is approved by the FDA to lift sinking brows. Ultherapy® works by using ultrasound technology to generate heat deep into the skin – stimulating the growth of the body’s own collagen. This new collagen can create the appearance of smoother, tighter skin over the brows, improving hooded lids and rejuvenating fine lines around the eyes. In some cases, results have been known to last a full year.
Dysport® is very similar to BOTOX® Cosmetic and can be used as an alternative to that popular cosmetic injectable treatment. Designed to temporarily improve the appearance of facial lines, wrinkles, creases, and furrows between the eyebrows, Dysport® works by preventing facial muscles from contracting in the areas targeted for treatment. This can result in a more youthful, smoother appearance to facial skin. The entire Dysport® procedure lasts about 15 minutes, and there is typically no downtime after treatment. Although there may be some redness and swelling after the procedure, this should fade within a few days. Results from Dysport® often last three to four months, and can be maintained with occasional “touch-up” treatments.
Dysport® has been approved for use as a wrinkle treatment by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Laser Skin Resurfacing
Facial rejuvenation of fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scarring can be achieved with state-of-the-art laser skin resurfacing. We utilize some of the most state-of-the-art laser technologies available, including the Alma Pixel CO2 Laser. This fractionated CO2 laser works to improve skin tone, reduce signs of damage and/or aging, and enhance the overall quality of the skin. Laser skin resurfacing can also improve the appearance of scarring caused by acne, trauma, or previous surgical procedures.
Our practice offers a variety of facial chemical peels that can be very effective in combination with facial rejuvenation surgery. A TCA (trichloracetic acid) peel can give you optimal exfoliation and eliminate outer layers of dead skin cells, bringing forth the healthier skin underneath. Plus, a Phenol Croton Oil peel can help renew the skin for patients with deep wrinkles and fine lines, as well as improve areas of brown spots and certain types of acne-scarring.
Cleared by the FDA, ThermiRF™ is an advanced system designed to smooth and tighten skin in various regions of the face and body via thermal-regulated radiofrequency (RF) energy.
